Alibag Beach
Alibag Beach is the main beach of the town. The beach has the blackest sand of the region. The beach is very lively with bathers in the morning and many food stalls in the evening.
Alibag Beach is tardily but certainly growing into a tourist attractor. Ali Shah Bawa’s mazhar is right in the center of the town and the beach is also named after him. The government have built a good platform for the tourist to enjoy the sea and to take bath with safety.

Accomodation:There are lots of hotela & resorts nearby beach. normal economy room in a Alibag hotel costs about Rs 800, however an air conditioned room will cost you just a few hundred Rupees more. For the ones who don’t mind spending, luxury rooms are available starting at Rs 2,200 and can go up to Rs 3,200 for one day. These rooms offer an excellent view of the sea. Ultra deluxe rooms are also available, starting at Rs 8,400 per night.
How to reach:
By Train:The nearest railway station is Pen, which is 28 km away from Alibag city. Trains are available from Mumbai (Rn Dadar Pass) and Panvel (Swv Diva Pass). By taxi the travel to Alibagh from Pen will costs about Rs 400.
By Bus:Alibag is well connected to Mumbai and Goa through the junction Pen. Catamaran/Ferry is available to Mumbai from the nearest Mandawa jetty.
