Indrai Fort

One of the mountain ranges of Sahyadri starts from Surgana in Nasik, and ends at Chandvad. This is called Ajanta Satmaal. Amongst the various forts in this range, Rajdher, Indrai, Koldher and Chandvad lie in the Chandvad taluka.

Type : Hill forts.

How to reach :
There are 2 ways to the fort, which lead to the base of the final summit.
Via Wadbare :
We need to reach Chandvad village for Indrai. From Chandvad, one has to get the bus to Rajdherwadi, and get down in Wadbare village at 6 km from Chandvad. The pathway from here takes around 3 hours to reach the top and joins the way from Rajdherwadi village.
Via Rajdherwadi :
From Chandvad, one has to get the bus to Rajdherwadi village. The way from here leads to the top in 2 hours.
