Tourist Attraction:
Bhopatgad Fort: Bhopatgad Fort, a comparably small fort, located in the outskirts of Jawahar has a structure like a fort constructed by Chathrapathi Shivaji. It is believed that Shivaji was holding his official and personal meetings in this fort, made with dilapidated rocks

Shirpamal:The Shirpamal, a structure created at the top of a hill, built by the great emperor of the Maratha kingdom Chathrapathi Shivaji and is dating back 3 centuries ago.

Jawhar is a pleasant hill station with average temperature lies almost between 30°C and 25°C. Jawhar has an average rainfall during monsoons (June to August). During summers (April-May) temperature can soar up to 33°C with a minimum of 28°C. During winters (December-February) the atmosphere can touch a low mercury level of 20°C and have a maximum of 28°C.
