Akshi Beach
The Akshi Beach is a beautiful white sand beach. Plenty of suru trees can be seen along the coast. The water is very clean and it renders safety for swimming. The beach is also a favorite among the birdwatchers and nature lovers.
The hamlet of Akshi is just 5 km away from Alibag. The village is full of fishermen and it is not crowded at all. The beach at Akshi is a favourite tourist spot. One could slug around the clear beaches and step inside the warm and unruffled Arabian Sea. Just a perfect getaway for a weekend.

By Air:The nearest airport is of Mumbai, 93 km from Alibag. By taxi the travel costs about Rs 1,500. Mumbai airport is well connected to all important cities in India and abroad.
By Train:The nearest railway station is Pen, which is 28 km away from Alibag city. Trains are available from Mumbai (Rn Dadar Pass) and Panvel (Swv Diva Pass). By taxi the travel to Alibagh from Pen will costs about Rs 400.
By Road:
One can reach Alibag via PEN (30 km away), which is on the Mumbai- Goa(78 km away) road. From Mumbai, one can reach Alibag by traveling on the Mumbai-Goa highway (NH-17) till Wadkhal (or Vadkhal) and taking the right fork from Wadkhal – the left fork being the road to Goa. The distance is approximately 108 km from Mumbai.
