Dajipur Wildlife Sanctuary

About:
The jungle resort of Dajipur is situated on the border of Kolhapur and Sindhudurg districts. Home to bison, wild deer, chital, gawa and many more spectacular wild animals and birds. Dajipur is an exciting and beautiful holiday getaway, situated 1200 metres above sea level. Summers (March to May) have a temperature range of 22°C to 40°C. Tourists prefer to keep away from touring during April and May months.Winters (December to February) have a temperature band of 12°C to 33°C and are plesant.Monsoons (June to August) are charming with rainfalls mild to medium. The area looks greenish during Monsoons.
